Different flow to a once very familiar story, which to be honest, at first didn’t sit well with me, towards the middle of the book, I was kind of blinded where it was leading, I knew Sydney and Ridge will eventually end up together (well, this is not a spoiler, since hello this is their story) but the actual progress of the story or the events that transpired leading to the end was somewhat different. I can say that it is somewhat unconventional, it presents a predicament that is, yes, we have seen too many times before, but there is something different presented by the author. I forgot that this is Colleen Hoover, and yes it may seem that this is yet another predictable book, but I am completely mistaken. I know saying I loved it a million times will not suffice, I hope whatever I put in this review can somehow influence another soul into reading this book.) Maybe Someday wasn’t what I was expecting it to be, I had this different story inside my head, thinking I have predicted everything after I have read the blurb, because, even if we admit it or not, most New Adults run through the same theme, that it becomes too predictable to a fault.

So I followed Hopeless, with yet another stellar book – Maybe Someday. (I am actually staring at my screen for a good five minutes now concocting the perfect words fitting this beautiful book, hoping I could at least give it justice. This is my second Colleen Hoover read, that first one being Hopeless, after reading Hopeless, I just knew I had to buy and read all of her works. You can never go wrong with a Colleen Hoover book. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…īeautiful and Realistic. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. Sydney becomes captivated by Ridge, her mysterious neighbor. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter’s cheating on her–and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori.
